Job Summary







Based in
Lusaka, the Human Capital Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional
client experience and serves as the subject matter expert and primary on:site point
of contact for the clients as regards all Human all Resources matters.



The Human
Capital Associate will address all client escalations and serve as the client
company inter:department liaison consultant and authority on all Human
Resources matters, in order to ensure expeditious resolution of matters as
guided by the engagement Terms of Reference and Service Level Agreement.

Reporting







The
Associate will report functionally to the Head of the Client organization as
well as the Managing Partner of DBK Management Consulting Limited.








3)


Position Responsibilities








a)


Assist in
the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures
and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/ or meetings.








b)


Maintain
all necessary records and files for reporting and audit purposes.








c)


Assist
department members with a variety of Human Resources project:related activities
in all key functional areas.








d)


Maintains
the confidentiality of all information




e)


Under
immediate supervision of the Client Head of Company, follows established
procedures to perform tasks that are routine in nature, requiring little
evaluation, originality, and/or ingenuity.








f)


Facilitate
staff on:boarding and orientation services, on:demand Human Resources services
to clients within assigned TORS and SLA's.








g)


Provide
inbound service delivery by answering client calls related to human capital
service questions and needs.








h)


Provide
administrative/operations support which includes but not limited to compliance,
staff changes and movements, human resources reporting, policy changes, conditions
of service administration.








i)


Provide Human Resources specialist services that
include staff recruitment and selection, learning and telnet development,
compensation and benefits, disciplinary and grievance case management,
performance and productivity, and staff cost management, staff termination.








j)


Ensure proper triage, escalation and effective
resolution of complicated human capital issues and challenging client
interactions and expands capabilities by escalating to DBK Management
Consulting Subject Matter Experts.








k)


Builds
capabilities and expands human resource knowledge, and experience, by
participating in professional development, training and mentoring
opportunities.








l)


Undertake projects and responsibilities as may be
added at the Client company's discretion as guided by the TORs.




Requirements

a)


Education and Experience








i)


Human Resources, Management or Business Degree with minimum of 5 years
of generalist experience.








ii)


Human Resources
Specialization in at least two practice areas, which includes at least one of
the of the following:









iii)


Employee and Labor Relations
Management, (including experience on Disciplinary and Grievance management, Knowledge
of Industrial and Labor Relations Legislation), Human Resources Operations
(Including staff conditions of service management, knowledge of Employment legislation),
Compensation and Benefits (including salary reviews administration, pay and
benefits administration).








b)


Licensing








i)


Must have a valid practicing license with the Zambia Human Resources Management
Institute.








c)


Other Skills








i)


Disposed to researching and implementing HR next think and trends
